Writing a book is by far the best way to share your expert knowledge with the world. Books are universal, which means they are accessible by people all over the world seeking your knowledge.
Unlike giving a speech, teaching a class, or even giving an interview where you share your expert knowledge, books can be owned, referred to again and again, and even shared with others.
Books are held in high regard, and authors are immediately deemed credible and authoritative on their subject matter. This is partially because it takes time and effort to write a book but also partially due to our society. We simply hold authors in high acclaim.
When you decide to become the author of a book, you also become something of a celebrity, whether you like it or not. You will then get all the additional benefits of your new celebrity status. Your world changes from chasing a dollar, to dollars chasing you if you promote your book properly.
You do not have to answer the question why, you just have to welcome all the opportunities that come along with your newfound fame. It is something to be enjoyed and to utilize for the good of all. Once you have this status you will enjoy a road less traveled.
Think about your favorite hobby, sport, or even your current career. Is there a book written on it? Have you read the book and, if so, what do you think about the person who wrote it? Do you consider them to be an expert in that particular field because they wrote a book? Of course you do and, when you write a book, you too will instantly be considered an expert by your readers. You will be the one who is thought to be an authority on your book’s topic.
