How much do we have left…
Friday, November 9th, 2007Today got me thinking: how much really do I have until our last breath of air?
If we take the average life expectancy as 77.5 (at least that’s what the statistics are telling us).
I am almost 33. So, I’ve got what? 77.5-33=44.5 (Shocking, isn’t it?)
Then let’s subtract 30% for sleeping, eating and other physiological activities (I am not going to name them, all right?
44.5 - 30% = 31.15 years left
Take off another 20% for paperwork, taxes, emails, phone calls and other daily nonsense
31.15 - 20% * 44.5 = 22.25 left….
And finally another 10% for commuting, waiting in lines, in the restaurants, stores and pharmacies, doctors, etc… (Don’t even get me started on doctors…)
22.25 - 10% * 44.5 = 17.8
LESS THAN 18 YEARS TO GO!!!
And it’s creeping me out…
And how much do you have left?
10? 20? 30? What if we subtract the time we waste watching TV? Mindlessly browsing the internet? Anything else you wanna share?
I need to do something with whatever I’ve got left. Starting NOW!
Tony Robbins has a great saying: “When would now be a good time?”
The rest of my life have started this very second.
Stay tuned. I will post my fantastic successes (and mindbogling failures right here, in this blog).
Until then,
Good luck and God bless!
